Bubble Guppies (lit. Sirenos or Sirenos Bubbly Bubble) is a pre-school animated series created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull for Nick Jr. was released in the US on Monday, January 24, 2011, and in Latin America 12 March of the same year. The series revolves around the adventures 6 mermen of different races (3 boys and 3 girls) animated series, with the help of an orange fish learn to solve problems and have fun in their dances, with lots of fun and comedy.

The plot goes from six small mermen of 5-7 years living in a fictional place called Bubbletucky ocean, they attend school by Mr. Grooper. In this school the six characters imagine incredible and comical adventures among which often learn a lot of things. Sometimes guppies leave school excursion to the city or warranting the theme of the episode.

Initially, greets Molly and Gil makes any curiosity and then one of them, or both say It's time for the Bubble Guppies !. Each episode begins with one of the Guppies way to school, when something on his way draws your attention, to get to school, while the other Guppies greet meet with Mr. Grouper, the character who appears at the beginning says the others occurred, which raises the curiosity about the subject, Mr Grouper asks the viewer to think a little about the subject, and displays elements of this, such as musical instruments for the genre rock 'n roll, parties the body where there are bones, or papers that can interpret an actor; the scene is followed by a song. The next scene is usually one where Guppies act in some kind of service related to the subject, either tune a guitar, be with the doctor to see x-rays, or fast food service for dinosaurs; this scene is followed by lunch, starring 3 Guppies, two of them have a normal lunch, while the third brings a comic variation. The next scene is usually a starring Molly and Gil, then reappear in the school where Guppies have more direct interaction within the topic of the chapter; this part is usually followed by a second song. Then follows the time of departure, where Guppies act a scene in the playground of the school, this scene is usually followed by another scene Gil and Molly, ending with the purpose of the episode, either go camping, act in a play, or go to the big city. The final scene is another starring Gil and Molly, to pursue the matter out.

In 2013, a critical caricature of the New York Post noted that children who are too young to understand the words, let alone the plot, was mesmerized by the spectacle.

In June 2014, the heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne announced to guest star as Sid the pscado in an episode of 2015.
