A boot is a type of shoe that covers the foot and ankle and can reach to the knee or groin. At first they were designed as work shoes in order to improve the protection of the foot and ankle joint. There are countless varieties according to height, color, material and style. Most have a heel, clearly differentiated from the sole even if they are both made of the same material.
