Backyardigans (amiguitos Your Garden in Spain, and The Backyardigans in Latin) is a Canadian animated series - American with Class A CGI created by Janice Burgess and co-produced by Nelvana and Nick Jr. (Viacom International Inc.). It premiered in the United States on November 22, 2004 on Nick Jr. and currently has 74 episodes and three films. The series is broadcast in the US and UK on Nick Jr., Discovery Kids in Latin America and in Spain in Cartoonito and Boomerang.

Five preschool friends, Uniqua, Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Austin, playing in their backyard. Using your imagination, the backyard is transformed into different worlds, where you have fantasies and many adventures, from the Nile to look for land converted Vikings, Tarzanes, Jeans, Shipwrecked, Reporters Pacific Tele, etc., or be part of a sinister story .
